GOEDEMOED MANOR COUNTRY HOUSE
By 1918, the town to Paarl was beginning to encroach on the farmlands on its outskirts, some of which had already been subdivided. Goedemoed did not escape this reduction of its original size, and about 10 morgen were transferred to Pieter Willem Luttig, who re-sold the land to Jan de Villiers on the very same day. This was the portion on which the farm now lies and where wine grapes are still cultivated.
